Gold Label’s Special Mix Coco substrate is made from coconut fibre.

How is the Special Mix Coco substrate made?

For this substrate, the woody part of the mature, brown-coloured husk is used for optimum quality and stability of the substrate. The fibres are washed to remove excess EC, neutralised to remove potassium and then sieved into fine fibres.

The whole process is done in an environmentally friendly way under the supervision of RHP.

What does it mean that Special Mix Coco substrate is RHP certified?

The RHP quality seal is the Dutch RHP standard for horticultural substrates that ensures a strict quality control that will give you outstanding results.

Can the Special Mix Coco substrate be reused?

Suitable for use with organic and mineral fertilisers. It is an organic and recyclable substrate and its light weight makes it easy to handle and process.
